By Patwal

On April 4, Cabinet ministers proudly announced that they buying 300 ventilators from China. "I'd like to thank the Chinese government for their support in securing that capacity," said by Michael Gove, a important member of  Boris Johnson's government. Unfortunately,  nine days later, a group of senior doctors and medical managers issued a serious warning about 250 Chinese ventilators that they received.

The doctors said the machines had a problematic oxygen supply, could not be cleaned properly, had an unfamiliar design and a confusing instruction manual, and were built for use in ambulances, not hospitals. "We believe that if used, significant patient harm, including death, is likely," British doctors said in the letter. “We look forward to the withdrawal and replacement of these ventilators with devices better able to provide intensive care ventilation for our patients.”

The Current number of UK coronavirus - 177,454 cases and 27,510people died with virus critics say the government has failed to provide protective equipment for health care workers and widespread testing.

China narratives seemed to be failed

China trying to set a global narratives as saver by helping other countries during this difficult times. Because most of the equipment reported to be faulty has come from China.
  • In march, the Netherlands recalls 600,000 face masks from China due to low standard and not up-to required standard.
  •  In April, the head of Finland's emergency medical supply agency cancel the order of multimillion-euro shipment of masks from China due to not up-to standard needed.

  • Not just masks,Spain complaint that hundreds of thousands of rapid test kits sent by a Chinese company were only 30% accurate, following similar reports in the Czech Republic.

  •  The U.K. ordered 3.5 million Chinese testing kits but found one of them to be good enough for widespread use.The British government said it was seeking refunds from the suppliers.
