India and China troops Confrontation causes injuries

On Saturday once again Border Tensions between India and China have flared up.Within a week this is the second time that India -China troops have come to blows at the LAC. This is not the first time similar incident take place in August, 2017 soldiers of India and China hurled stones at each other and also exchanged blows near Pangong Lake in Ladakh.  The 73-day stand-off with China also happened that year over Doklam plateau, a neighborhood claimed by China and India's ally Bhutan.

Now Indian Army  officially confirms the India-China face off that Troops of India and China  were involved in a fierce face-off near Naku La Pass in the Sikkim sector of the Sino-India Border. 150 Soldiers were involved from both the sides India and China. 11 Soldiers injured Seven Chinese and Four Indian troops were injured in this confrontation.

The army said in a statement, "Aggressive behaviour by the two sides resulted in minor injuries to troops. The two sides disengaged after dialogue and interaction at local level".

Why China is doing this ?

As International pressure piles up on China over Covid-19 it is becoming more and more assertive. Those countries who have quiet on critics of corona virus China take this as a sign of weakness due to weak diplomacy of those Countries.

  • Like recently China ships intruded Japanese territory Senkaku island and China soldiers intruded in Indian territory Sikkim border during this pandemic. Now India and Japan government will also have start targeting China and give statement on China about Coronavirus like other members of Quad group doing US and Australia and show their diplomacy power.

  • China also looking this time as a opportunity by increasing their power and rise influence in the South-China sea. On the another hand other countries are busy in fighting with Covid-19 pandemic while China showcase their powers to all world.

Naku la Pass- is a 5,259 meter-high pass in India's Sikkim state along the border with Tibet.

Thanks.
