Support or Not Taiwan?

A BIG question rise for India during this pandemic of Covid-19 to support Taiwan or not? Because recently Taiwan says it want to attend the next World Health Assembly(WHA) meeting of WHO which is held to be from 18 may and China object this. Because China claims Taiwan as its province and has repeatedly said that as a part of China, Taiwan has no right to its own diplomatic representation on the global stage and in International organizations such as WHO.

Taiwan joined WHA meeting as an observer from 2009 to 2016. Taiwan was invited as an observer to the WHA for 8 years between 2009 to 2016 with the name of Chinese Taipei. However since the 71st WHA in 2018, Chinese Mainland has continued to block Taiwan's participation in WHA as an observer.

China has also give warnings on any attempt to include or support Taiwan’s role at the WHA, referring to the “One-China” principle as “a widely accepted universal consensus of the international community including the Indian government.” Recent China asks India media to support One-China Principle. China wants from India to not support Five eyes group on Taiwan join WHO matter.

Recently US President signed the TAIPEI Act, support for Taiwan in strengthening its relationships with countries around the world by which they can give punishment China for Wuhan Virus. And the Five eyes group(UK,US,Canada, Australia and New Zealand) is aggressively supporting Taiwan to return to the WHA. Trying to Taiwan back in WHO as observer status.
